Secondary school places

The closing date for secondary school place applications for children born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015 was 3 November 2025. If you've already applied, we'll let you know the outcome by 2 March 2026.
If you make any amendments to an on-time application after the closing date, we will consider this as a new application which will replace anything previously received and will be recorded as late.

Reception places

Applying for a 2026 reception place for children born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 is now available. The closing date for reception place applications is 17 November 2025 and we'll let you know the outcome by 16 April 2026.

Nursery places

Applying for a 2026 nursery place for children born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023 is now available. The closing date for nursery place applications is 16 February 2026 and we'll let you know the outcome by 5 May 2026.

After submitting a school admissions application, if you’d like to make a change there will be a short period where you can unsubmit your application through account management.

If the option to unsubmit an application is not displayed, you will need to complete an online form to let us know about a change.

You do not need an Education Self-Service account if you would like to apply for your child to transfer from one school to another.
