Applying for a 2027 year 7 secondary school place for children born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016 is now available. The closing date for year 7 secondary school place applications is 31 October 2026 and we'll let you know the outcome by 1 March 2027.

Applying for a 2027 reception place for children born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023 is now available. The closing date for reception place applications is 15 January 2027 and we'll let you know the outcome by 16 April 2027.

Junior (year 3) places

Applying for a 2027 junior (year 3) place for children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 is now available. The closing date for junior (year 3) place applications is 15 January 2027 and we'll let you know the outcome by 16 April 2027.

You only need to complete this application if your child currently attends an infant school (either St. Asaph Infants or Ysgol Y Parc), and you want to apply for a junior school (either Ysgol Esgob Morgan or Ysgol Frongoch)

Nursery places

Applying for a 2027 nursery place for children born between 1 September 2023 and 31 August 2024 is now available. The closing date for nursery place applications is 15 February 2027 and we'll let you know the outcome by 5 May 2027.

Changing an application after it has been submitted

After submitting a school admissions application, if you’d like to make a change there will be a short period where you can unsubmit your application through account management.

If the option to unsubmit an application is not displayed, you will need to complete an online form to let us know about a change.
